The one-piece suit was created by Beloved Shirts, a clothing company known for its T-shirts that resemble popular junk foods, including pepperoni pizza, doughnuts, and ramen. It's officially called the Sexy Chest One Piece Swimsuit, and it features just that: an incredibly realistic screenprint of a hairy chest, torso, and back. It comes in three different shades to match with your skin tone (natural, tan, and dark), is available in six sizes (XS to XXL), and is on sale for $44.95.
When worn, the swimsuit gives the appearance that the individual is naked and flaunting a furry physique. Though it's made in women's sizes, this guy proves really anyone can rock it. Beloved Shirts designed the head-turning bathing suit to "make 'em say WTF," according to its Instagram, and based on these two factors alone, it is succeeding.
The swimsuit's realistically hairy design has elicited strong reactions, to put it lightly. One mother surprised her kids by wearing the bold suit, and they screamed in horror. Twitter appears to be equally horrified by the design. Hey, there's nothing wrong with body hair. But fake body hair that seemingly grew over night? A little creepy.
"No, we're absolutely not doing this," wrote one Twitter user, with a picture of the hairy swimsuit. "WHOOOO would NEED this?" wrote another. Other responses include: "I want to delete this image from my brain," and "please make it stop."
The chest hair trend in clothing doesn't stop with this swimsuit: Beloved Shirts also offers a Sexy Chest Tracksuit, which is a full-body sweatsuit rendition of the bathing suit. Perhaps for Halloween?
